Locked thru and started out fishing tops in 14 fow at 9 ft deep until 11 am. Then I had about 8 and changed to a slow troll in 16 fow fishing 8-10 ft deep and started picking up more and bigger fish. Grey hair jig early and Electric Chicken the rest of the day. Kept 35 and 1 bass and that's with throwing back around 20-25 small ones. Had I known the lock people were busy (it took a 1 1/2 hrs to lock thru going back), and had I had more room in my 32 qt icechest, I would have stayed and finished my limit. When I would put a fish in the box, they would flounce and pop the lid open.

Having too many fish where they pop the lid open is a problem I wish to have one day.
Good looking fish.
Good report Skipper. Ain't nothing wrong with 35 quality fish and I know they were good fish if you kept them. Congratulations!
