    Default Another grand day on the water


    We hit the water a little late this morning around nine o’clock. We first tried to latch on to some bass but they didn’t want to join us. Switched to our jig poles and pulled a slab in every now and then. I finally put my jig pole in the spider rigging holder and drug a shiner around while I continued to try to catch a bass or two. I caught 3 slabs like that and a couple others on a Roadrunner. It was great fun and Linda had another wonderful day of fishing. Ate some blackened slabs for dinner this evening.

    those crappie have some shoulders on them and nice NTS too. cracks me up when people throw those bass back and don't eat them. perfect fileting size and good to eat! great day with your gal
