Default No slabs were hurt yesteday.

With the terrible winds we've been having and with Linda's back problems we haven't hit the water is a week or more. Yesterday she felt like getting out so off we went. We had the pleasure to meet two of the finest local crappie fishermen at the launch, my friend Bobfish and the Duce. We launched at the same time after shooting the bull a while and headed out. We parted ways by heading into different canals and I never ran into them again. Try as we might we could not find any sacs but the bass were more than willing. We caught some and put some back but brought home enough for supper. It was fun as it's been a while since I've cast for bass. I may have to do that again soon. Sorry no pictures, I was too tired to think straight having messed around in the yard all morning before we hit the water close to noon.

Nice, that looks just like my take home stringer. My biggest weighed just under 2 pounds.

Good report, Mr. Gene. It's always good to come home with supper. Congratulations!
