Everything I caught at Cypress in Benton yesterday were females, still full of eggs. Caught on edges of deep creeks,
fishing 10-13ft deep. Surface temp was 65-66. They aren't done here. Guessing next full moon.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

Caught a few in Lake Martin yesterday. One female and she was dripping eggs when I got her to the boat. Usually Martin is a few weeks before the northern lakes, so I don’t think it’s over.

Pretty sure it's been done here(Pearl River) for at least two weeks. Would like to hear otherwise though.
High water as usual but should make for a good class. High point is catching em in backyard!

Always happens south of I10 first. There is still a lot of spawn left further north from my past experience. Not a crappie master though.

If your a weekender like me, then you had 2 chances.
Weekend of the 17 and 24, the first two in march had the ramps way underwater, before that water temp was 56. Boom bam bang dogwoods are blooming. get your brim pole out.

Only got 12 to bite today and it was windy and choppy.
This fish was caught In April 2007 in waggoners pocket on da banK I mean rite on da bank.
