North Toledo Bend state park is nice.
Every year, my wife, 5 year old son and I go to our camp on saline/Larto for an extended weekend on our anniversary. This year it falls on Easter weekend. Due to flooding, we may not be able to get to our camp so I知 looking for a backup plan just in case. I致e only fished the bend a few times when I was younger and have no clue where I知 gonna go. I知 looking to see if you guys can help me with finding a nice camp or cabin to rent for a few days? Somewhere that痴 nice, that would have a launch close by. I saw tons of places online, but I would like to get some opinions on some places.
Thanks for any help you guys can give. I知 hoping this is all for nothing and we can go to our camp. I know where to fish there.

South Toledo Bend State Park is also nice and there is a launch. There is still grass on the south end and around Easter slow trolling the outside grass line is pretty good. There is usually a lot of grass around the park as well as around the Louisiana islands and out in front of Bass Haven Marina. Bridge Bay cabins are nice. I have stayed there a few times and Wildwood Resort is one of the nicest places on the Louisiana side. Good luck. You will be lucky to find an opening this time of year.

I've never fished out of the North Toledo Bend SP but there's some good looking water around it. One cove is near the boat launch. And they do have cabins.
Like Cajun Pop said, it will be difficult to find an opening this time of year. The SRA campgrounds (San Miguel and Cypress Bend) are booked solid, including RV spots. The state parks may have some openings if you book way in advance, they don't allow pets and their prices are ridiculous. Wildwood next to SRA San Miguel is nice, but I'm sure they're booking up quickly. Most folks who stay at Wildwood launch at San Miguel.

Thanks for all the responses. I wish this was not even an option, but things happened that are out of my control. Hopefully I will be at my own camp and not looking for somewhere else to go. Maybe Toledo bend is not in the cards either. Again, thanks for all of your help.
