Perdy fish. I guess I was the only one that got 3 1/2" of rain this morning.
Just enough for supper for Linda and I plus a few pieces to pass over to our daughter. We fished the 70 mile canal and Orange Grove. Caught only one in 70 mile and rest in the Grove. I missed 3 large ones that go off because they were inside a laydown and the hook tore lose as I tried to lift them. The ones we caught we 14", 13", 12" and 10.5", very nice fish. We found the fish as the wind found us which made it hard to fish the laydown and Linda was getting antsy about the ride home in all that wind. The Intracoastal gets pretty rough with an East wind and it's hard on here sore back. I might add that they were caught on shiners.

No rain for us Chip, it all went North of Houma thankfully as I had a very important project going on. I was moving a 10 X 16 shed that I bought from a lady down on her luck. I gave her a little good luck back.

Congratulations Mr. Gene and Mrs. Linda on a fine mess of fish. Pawpaw, did Mrs. Linda beat you again?
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Nope not today Pastor, not bragging but I caught all 4 of them She doesn't have the hang of it when it comes to fishing through a tree top when there are so many branches above the water. She can't seem to just drop her jig straight down and let it sit on the float. She tries to move it around and ends up getting tangled up in the branches.

That new fangled Invention of the slip Cork is the only thing that would put a shiner down in a spot like that. Most of the rest of us would pass by a spot like that...
