Anyone fish Black Bayou-Benton?
I have been seeing more and more boats crappie fishing and also trolling cranks on Black Bayou in Benton...any of you on here?
I live on the lake so it is about the only place I fish anymore. Boat is still on the trailer due to deer season, but now that the freezer is almost full, it is time to put the boat back in the boathouse!

Only one cranker on BB that I know of. He also cranks on Cypress, where I also crank. Only seen one other on Cypress. There's several members here that fish both. I haven't fished BB. I pretty much stay on Cypress. Haven't been doing well. I was out there today, in the wind and cold, all by my lonesome. It wasn't a good ending today either. One fish on a jig. Couldn't get them to touch a crank.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

There is one guy I have seen cranking on BB that seems to always do pretty well. He fishes out of a bay boat...not sure if he is on here or not.
That's some dedication right there, fishing in these temps!
