Thread: Cold Weather Coming

After looking at the weather forecast, I decided to make a quick trip up to the camp at Hosston to make sure everything was ready for the hard freeze predicted. Due to work and having the flu I had not been able to make it up there for about a month. The water looked better than I had seen it in awhile with less salvinia. I am hoping now that the bitter cold will kill a bunch of it off. Several years ago we had cold weather like is predicted and it killed a whole lot of it. I am hoping for a repeat. Everyone stay safe and warm.

Speaking of cold weather, remember to trim your motor down to drain the water from the lower unit and pull the plug in the boat to let all water out.
