Thread: Caney lake this week

Went to caney lake over the weekend and stayed until Thursday. Brought the family up to visit my parents and to do a little fishing/swimming. While I couldn't figure out the white perch, my dad and I did manage some catfish on trot lines. I caught one under slot bass and one white perch before running the trot lines Monday morning. We caught 7 nice catfish the first day and three the next. Took my kids out to run them and they had a blast. We pulled the lines up Tuesday and started bream fishing. We caught about 20 chinks Wednesday morning and again Thursday morning. Had a blast all around. For such a small lake, it seems to get a lot of fishing and boating pressure. This is the only picture I snapped. I'm not big on pictures, I guess I need to try harder. Tight lines
