Not long winded, just right. Thanks. Remember we like pics.
First trip after Caden surgery, I know it was going to be tough, not with my son he was PUMPED UP to go fish, I got home pulled out the boat checking everything and my dry box not so dry, everything was soaked!!!! Including my now dead wireless controller for my trolling motor, $80 on order as of now, I told Caden this is going to be tough but we are going. Hit the launch to find tons of boats and I took the last parking spot I believe, we hit the normal dead end canal, water temp was 82 and I think the big ones have moved deeper. We caught 15 and keep 5 Sacs and missed about 20. At 830 I decide to start scanning with sonar in the main Bayou end up finding 5 structures that were holding what I believe to Sacs. In the dead end canals I could use my kayak paddle to position the boat, not out here. Every visible structure seem to have a boat on it... I called the wife to see if she wanted to make an evening trip with us she was game.
Pier 90: at 430 me and Caden with the wife, with down and side scan running didn't find much, but end the evening with 3 Sacs, 2 blues and 5 throw backs. Ran out of minnows and had to start prepping the meat to go in the smoker for Father's Day.
Sorry for for being long winded..,

Congratulations on a great catch. Hate that about the dry box and remote.
