    Default Bayou black Gibson

Had a good day Saturday. Started slow picking up a few here and there. They didn't start really biting until mid afternoon and the key was moving water next to deep holes. Caught on roadrunner heads with bobby garland electric chicken and blue pearl bodies. Ended the day with 32 sacs and 2 bass. (Pics to come)

Looking forward to seeing those pics, I had to come on the site and get my fix.... I couldn't go this weekend... wife's bday on Saturday and Mother's Day today... I'm going to have to sneak a late evening trip this week, cause I have a work weekend this weekend at the camp.

Sounds like a good day to me. We almost headed out that way on Sunday but changed out minds and fished closer to home.

Gotta give it a shot it's an awesome fishery, lots of solid keeper fish.

Its big and vast for sure but not as complicated as it looks. If you can fish during the week, you dang near have it to yourself. I would recommend starting around turtle bayou, plenty of fish there. Runnouts, laydowns, points with water movement, wellheads, etc. any structure in 5-10fow has fish on it. Try blue/white color baits to start.
