What color do y'all prefer in clear, stained, and muddy water?

Thank y'all! I have so many colors and combos of jig colors and styles I often find myself over-complicating the situation.

It really all depends. I have fished my home lake so much that I have it narrowed down to sunny, cloudy, and times of day. Take for instance one color in particular, BG bone white and chartreuse. The fish seem to only hit this color on a sunny day when the sun is high in the sky say 10:00 to 14:00. If the water is muddy or stained and its sunny out I go with bright colored baits that will be easier for the fish to see. On the contrary if it is cloudy and overcast on the same lake I darken up for example I would use BG eclipse or lights out. The biggest thing I think is being flexible if something is not working change.

Do you find that the same colors on your home lake tend to also work other places? I find I catch more on what I am most confident in.

About half the colors on my home lake work other places.
