Sounds like you salvaged a day. Congratulations brother! Still waiting on pictures. HeHeHe!
Started at Big Cypress at 43 bridge at
daylight. Lots of current and 18 inches of new water. It was
so muddy, I thought I saw a chicken walk across it.
One of the few times I've been skunked. Not to be outdone,
I headed to Lake O' The Pines. Got there at 11, left at 3:30
ahead of a storm. Brought home 13 nice ones. No jigs were
injured during this outing. Only hit minnows on bottom in
20 to 28 fow. Sorry about pics, still haven't figured out how
to post them from my phone.

Are you using the Tapatalk app on your phone?
Photos go in but they wont come out ---- Been there --
That's a pretty lake for sure, I really like that area of East Texas. I've been meaning to camp and fish there. We pass through there going to/from Lake Hugo in Oklahoma. The reason why I take that route is because of the Texas Best Smokehouse off I-20, serious BBQ. There's another off I-20 in Tyler as well. Been to both a few times. A serious selection of their beef jerky as well.

I have and iPhone 6. As I'm not sure what you have this may be different but should be similar. Use the grey square with the 2 mountain peaks in it to add pics to your post.
Once you select the picture you want from the photos on your phone it will look like the picture below.
Do not type or add any spaces or make any changes to the text that is between the [IMG] and you should have pics when you hit post. Try it on this thread. Hit the + before you reply and you should get the option to add pics.
