james morgan (southern chuter) has acquired us some goodies. one really cool rod. he got OZARK RODS to donate a couple of rods. and he even got a pick one in case a lady's name gets drawn when it is still available. check these two beauties out.

james also got a commitment from THE HONEY HOLE in west monroe and from TATERBUGS in farmerville. since most of us will be launching at jakes (hwy 33 bridge) i wanted to post a pic of taterbugs that i stole from treefrogs facebook page. LOL this place is about a quarter mile from jake's launch. just towards town. yall need to check them out. waylon, one of the owners assured me that he would order extra shiners and have every coler jig head and body anyone could want. so yall go in if ya get a chacne and thank them for supporting our gathering and donating door prizes to us.

another prize gathered up by james!! this is a bunch of stuff from mid south tackle. its a bunch of jigs bodies and a 25$ gift cert and a 50$ gift cert. and there might even be more by saturday night. check this out!!

my good buddy at HITEK STUFF came through again this year. if anyone needs spider rig holders, i would recommend this guy 10 to 1 over anyone else. he does amazing work. he sent a 4 rod holder spider rig holder and something new he has this year. a net holder. its a tube that mounts the same way as the rod holders. yall check out the pics.

me and shannon wanted to donate this to the door prizes. it's an umbrella that i put the crappie.com logo on. also on the little sleeve that it goes in when not in use. whatchall think??

got a couple more things me and shannon wanted to donate, but i will surprise yall this evening.

obviously there will not be a mandate, but i really hope that the guys will let the pink rod go to a lady. but hey, i'm not too proud to fish with a pank rod. LOL

me and shannon had a couple more things we wanted to add to the pot. these two RTIC 30 ounce tumblers come complete with a crappie.com logo and a decal stating that they were won at the D'Arbonne Gathering 2016. gonna pack these two beauties as full as i can with midsouth or johnsons jig bodies. someone gonna be set!!

just gonna throw this info out there again in case someone does not know how we do the door prizes. we will have TWO boxes for names to go in. one box will be for active members. this is defined as those attending the gathering that REGULARLY contribute to the CDC board. the other box is for everyone else. we will draw names out of the active member box first, then start to pull out of the other box until we run out of prizes. first name pulled gets to pick from all the prizes, and so on. i will strive whole heartedly to group the prizes so that we don't have to throw all the names back in the hat and draw again. when we do this, folks lose interest and it goes down hill quick. i will have name tags and sharpies, as well as slips to write your name on for the door prizes. so eachnight be sure to have a name tag and saturday night be sure to find the appropriate box and put your name in.

not trying to make this complicated, just want it to go smooth as possible.
