    Default Burns 5-31-16

Made a lone trip to the burns this afternoon. Went with intentions of bass fishing but when they didn't bite right away I switched to bream fishing. Caught a bunch, only kept 5. Did manage to catch a couple of bass while bass fishing there at the end. Here are the pictures.
This chickapen was a really nice one!

The nicer of the 2 bass.

If you are going to catch them, you gota clean them and eat them! Buried the heads around the Cajun Gold fig tree that pawpaw gene gave me! Seems to be helping it out quite nicely!

It must be a different Miami permit for the Burns. Mine is for Superior and says it's no good for over there where you are fishing. Do you launch at the public launch there on the ICW?

Yes you can launch in the intercoastal and run down to the cut that runs to the Superior ditch OR you can cross over the Gibbstown bridge and launch straight into the front marsh, which is where I usually launch.
