Default Lake D'Arbonne Rules and Regulations

Just a heads up that these rules are about to start being heavily enforced due to some illegal drug use, drinking, littering, and clogging up launches prohibiting boat users from being able to get in and out of the water in a timely manner. This is a major safety issue and people can get backed over and in some incidents basically have recently. Swimming and fishing is allowed only within 50 ft to the left or right of the lake docks and launches. No parking on the actual ramp where your vehicle is in the way without a boat and no swimming/fishing is allowed on the actual docks and launches. The rules have always been in place, only now they're about to really start cracking down bc like I said word has been passed on to me that there's some serious issues arising. I've been told the police dept will be called should these acts take place.

Good deal, I put in on the LA2 Corney launch and it has gotten real bad when the people fishing from the circle think they can park there too.....

I agree with the agencies enforcing these rules. I fish alone most of the time and have felt a bit uncomfortable on the east side dam launch. Lots of rip rap that have no respect.

My Dad and I had an issue at the North Spillway ramp a couple of weeks ago. There were so many people sitting and laying down on the boat dock, my dad could not get out of the boat. I had to get loud with some people to move. Also people swimming on top of ramp. It took me 30 minutes to get loaded up because those people were trying to make trouble. I could smell beer around those folks when I walked by them. Just my two cents.

I agree with enforcing rules. Hwy 2 ramp and ramp across from jakes is terrible w people parked in circle. I understand people wanting to fish from the bank just leave room for the folks putting boats in.

Probably a good idea to enter in your cell phone the numbers for the sheriffs departments of all the parishes you normally fish. May not always want to go through the 911 system.
