Sounds like a good plan to me. Some people show no respect now days and that's everywhere's.

The north spillway ramp was covered up with swimmers and partiers a couple of weekends ago. I didn't try tying to the dock...would have been too much hassle dealing with the swimmers and others laying out. Had to weave through the swimmers to get to the ramp.

I have a conference call today at 10am with someone who works with Public Affairs. I'm all for people having a good time, but only if it falls within the guidelines set forth by the people in charge. The problem I'm seeing is I have no political affiliation with the lake whatsoever, so why am I having to do this? For those of you that don't know, this has been an ongoing battle for me since January and I've gotten nowhere. The Lake Commission doesn't care about the lake. These rules are in place and when you ask them why all this is going on they simply say "well we put signs up and they tore em down so there's nothing we can do about it." That's unacceptable. I'm hoping before January of 2016 we have the ramp issue resolved from a partying stand point and a maintenance standpoint. And the fact that the people who are representing you and I do nothing to help the lake is about to be voiced on a high level.

A few weeks ago, I got back to the south landing at the spillway and was greeted with the dock full of people, some laying out and fishing poles hanging off both sides. Had to tell them that I needed one side of thr dock or the other and they could choose. After walking the maze of people on the dock, I had to back down the hill due to 4 vehicles parked in the corner of the ramp and others parked along the sides, all while dodging kids on the ramp and in the water to get my trailer backed in. Met a big ski boat on my way out and chuckled thinking of what trouble he was going to have trying to launch. Went back the next day and was disgusted by all the trash on the ramp and dock. I respect others rights to use the lake but the docks and landings have a specific purpose.
