    Default My Disney World

also know as the Atchafalaya Basin, spillway, and swamp. At 260,000 acres it's much bigger than Mickey's place in Florida.

Checked the with Jay Grimes Christmas Day and he say's partly cloudy with rain latter in the day. I ask Grandma for a yard pass, she say's I'm playing with the grand babies. I'll take that as a yes!

Left the house around 8am, no rush let the water warm some. Well that's what the experts say. Traffic lite on I12 smooth sailing across the MS River bridge. Stop at Spillway Sportsman for one of their world famous biscuits. !st bad sign, their closed. Guess the boss man gone catching too.

Head threw Plaquemine and I see the Santa Gorilla is still there. Make my right turn On Bellevue Rd. and 2nd bad sign. Train on the tracks. Train clears and I make my ice stop, 3rd bad sign dang machine won't take my money.

Almost to Jack Millers and here comes the rain 4th bad sign. That's OK fish bite in the rain and I don't melt when wet.

Head to the Pigeon landing and the parking lot is 2/3rd full. Good sign.

Launch boat and make my run down to the Postillion area and first flip fish on. Bad sign #5. Catching on your first flip cast means a long day. Pull in at least 5 keepers and that many throw backs from the one spot Good sign #2

Ran down to the Reed canal caught a few more Good sign #3 Over to big pigeon and caught some more Good Sign #4 Went over to Little Pigeon and fish on again Good sign #5

Drizzle on and off all day. That's OK as long as I'm in Disney World.

All fish caught with a black n Chartreuse tube jig on a 1/16 minnow head bouncing the jig off the bottom in 6 to 8 foot of water.

No shiners or miners harmed in the catching of these fish.

I loved reading your post. Made me think I was in the truck and boat with you. Looks like a great catch too. Congratulations!
