    Default Bayou Pigeon, Atchafalaya Basin

Went yesterday. Fished 7 to 1. Tried several places and caught them all in one canal that had slow moving water. 4 ft deep, 78 degree water. All caught dipping a blue/chart jig on a jig pole.
12 CRAPPIE, 1 BASS, 1 CATFISH, 4 GOGGLEYE. Had fun and now for the good part, fresh fried crappie!! Gonna fry Monday for wife and I, Mother in law(98), her little brother(88) and his wife(87).Name: pigeon 1.jpg

Great catch. Fried up a mess last night for my son and daughter in law.

Forgot to mention 1 gar and 2 goo and about 20 goggleyes between 1.5 and 2.5 inches. One of the goo's was about 4 inches, smallest I ever caught. Gonna be a pile of them next spring. My jig doesn't care what bites it, it go for all of em.
