    I've been asked

    "I was wondering if anyone is familiar with northern Monroe
    in Louisiana. My wife will be starting work there soon. She
    will be looking for an apartment or townhouse to rent. What
    areas should she avoid etc. ? What else can you tell me?"

    Most areas South of the Interstate 20 are where the Lowest Income Folks Reside. I suggest a Realestate agent.

    I live on Deborah drive there are two sets of apartments that are in our neighborhood. There names are Riverwood apts Morrison place operated by same person. Send me pm I will be glad to help.

    All good advice in here JR. To add to it, I wouldn't consider anything that isn't further North than Bayou Desiard, because she probably won't want to stay around a bunch of college students. The Deborah Drive area is really nice, but I don't know much about their apartments.
