cool! Thanks for sharing. Do you retrieve them, use a cork, or just jig vertically with them? Can't tell if the long tails move a lot on their own or if they need to be pulled through water.
Found these when I was living up in Washington state...they were fairly available everywhere (WalMart etc) and primarily used for trout. I started targeting Crappie and yellow perch with them and had great luck up there. So when I moved back home they were nowhere to be found. Had to go online to get em. I guess Johnson and Berkley merged or something now Johnson sells them as Beetle Critters but without the power juice. The Berkleys are still available too though. But figured Id share these little critters with yall. I usually tip jigs with shiners but these seem to work better without. Honestly I cant remember the last time they haven't been successful...just gotta find the right color. They cant resist those dangly tentacles I guess. Anyway thought Id share. Also...Im in no way affiliated with Berkley or Johnson....just like these lures a heck of a lot and thought Id pass it on and give yall something new to try.

Theyre tiny only abut an inch long not counting the 2 tails. So throw em on a jig head and vertical jig or under a bobber. Just like any jig body. I ran em on a beetle spin setup once way up north and couldn't keep the yellow perch off it. I think its those tails that get em every time. If you start missing bites those tails usually end up missing in a hurry.
