    Default Maringouin Bayou

    Hey Guy’s,
Made another evening trip to Maringouin Bayou; I fished the southernmost end of the area…from Brown Bayou to Grand River. The water was still not moving out of the woods like I was hoping, but I managed to catch 23 Sac-a-lait. It looks like they are starting to move up around the bushes. All caught tight lining with red and chartreuse tub jigs.
    Good fishing…God BLESS!

    Nice catch!

Years ago, that was one of my dad's favorite places to fish. We would drive all the way from Carencro to fish there, and we loved it.

Thank you for the report. If my husband can get off at a reasonable time today, I'd like to give it a try.

Look out when that water comes out of the woods!
