Thread: boat trailer inspection tag checks

If any body with a that owns a boat with a trailer driving on a road should have a brake tag. If you would have an accident, or involved in an accident pulling a trailer, not just a boat trailer, any trailer and have no inspection tag for that trailer is in for trouble. If the government would use the money for boat trailers inspection or fines collected put in real good use, like fixing public boat launch fixing public parking lots. I believe anybody wouldn't mind giving their 10 bucks for an inspection. BUT WE LIVE IN LA. My two cents again

If any one gave a sh** about ANYONE else other than themselves,there would be no safety issues, we would be aware of the fact that we need inspections for trailers, we would comply, we would try to ensure the safety of others by taking care of our own stuff. But in the world we live in almost everyone is trying to think of a way to NOT pay ,for example, inspection fees, taxes, tickets for trailer inspections, and the list goes on and the reason IMO(check it out Danny) is that we are all suspicious that somebody else is trying to take advantage of us,trying to get another dollar where they are not supposed to. THINK ABOUT IT, is any of this under our control REALLY???? do your job!!!! Take care of business at home and this will take care of others safety.

I heard this morning that tickets were given to people without inspections for their boat trailers at Lacassine Pool. The wardens did not ask for anything else. Just their inspection sticker. I'm going get mine tomorrow morning.

I might have to go ONE more day but i may get it after the trip tomorrow. my trailer is safe and if they give me a ticket for not havin it inspected then so b it...

It may even b more dangerous to drive BEHIND someone with STUFF flying out of the back of the vehicle....one night i ran slam over a queen sized box spring that was" released" from the bed of a pickup...danger danger ........but theres not enough law enforcement in the world to combat all the danger....IT is up to us...nuff said
