What is the water clarity at black lake, and do you think that has something to do with how well the grey ghost works there?

treboryerf the water is dark, dark , dark, probably because of all the cypress trees. It is total full of cypress. Yes that is probably why it works so good, dark water dark bait, clear water light bait.

We are planning to make trip to black lake this weekend. Never fished it, my dad and I would fish saline in winnfield for bass. Any pointers? Should I put in a chandlers?

Addicted2huntin that's what I do, put in at chandlers and motor out to the channel and fish both sides of the channel from the Island west to just past the old railroad trestle and under the new bridge.

I guess I'm going to have to get some materials and tie up some of those. Maybe I'll catch some slabs.

I just wish it had a little bit bigger hook on it.
