I raised them for several years. Although I loved them as bait, this has turned out to be a pretty weak strain. When it gets cooler, they flat out stop breeding. While the red wigglers continue to breed. Due to the fickle nature of this worm I can no longer recommend them. They are very close in size to a red wiggler, so it's hard to justify the trouble for a worm that isn't too different from a red wiggler...
That said, if you keep them in a climate controlled area and raise them you will get ok results. But like I said, they are super fickle and will stop breeding while the reds keep on producing offspring.
Commercial worm farmer, but presently sold out until further notice.
