Went this morning to one of our local lakes with my buddy and his wife. It’s tough but you can get them to bite. Hit a couple of our normal spots and first fish I catch is a nice 1 lb 15 oz crappie.

I ordered another mold

I ordered a 20 cavity fatguys fishing 2" ba series stinger tail shad mold. I'll be glad to get it so i can make up a bunch in a few proven colors.

Josh Jones Crappie Rod

I'm very happy with my Dobyns bass rods in both casting & spinning. I wouldn't expect less in a crappie rod. He makes good stuff for sure.
