Man this cold & snow sucks. I’ll sure be glad when a man’s able to go fishing.

On a positive note it’s great for trailing deer during the late archery season. We have 15 inches now and it wears me out tromping through it to get to my treestand. Stay warm sir…

We had 9" from round 1, picked up another1" yesterday & 2-4" forecasted for tomorrow.

    I'm ready for Spring already.

I’m sure the crappie are thinking about us!

The first snow if fun and pretty. Now it’s just a nuisance. Make you thankful for all the modern conveniences we all have.

We aren’t building fires and trying to keep them going day and night and chopping wood and shooting at anything that stands still for a warm meal.

Can’t imagine living like people used to have to live.

They had no idea this snow was coming 50-60 years ago. They were tough people and always prepared.

Now we wait for our grocery order to be ready at Kroger as we look at a $1000 dollar cell phone.

Yeah, and I just dug my truck out from under 6+" of snow & ~1" of ice yesterday ... and made a grocery run today. We're forcasted to get 1-3" Friday into Saturday, but I'm betting on it being more like 3-5" ... but at least there won't be any ice along with it. Tree limbs and power lines are still ice covered, and luckily we haven't lost power thru this last storm ... but, if it's a wet snow that sticks to the ice covered limbs/lines, we may still be in for some power outages.

The snow is nice for about an hour after that it is a chore. Stay safe out there.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
