Sounds like tough fishing. Sure better than a skunk. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
This week was the first time I have fished green since the spring fling. Saturday I should have went to long john silvers. The wind was terrible so I was confined to fishing 1 area but was a big deal it was 1 of my 3 favorite places to fish. Seen a ton of fish but I couldn't for the life of me get them to bite. I could only take watching the look at my jig for 4 hours and I went home. Ended up with 10 keep fish. Sunday I was able to fish the places I wanted to fish. It took me a couple hours to find where the fish was and when I did it was the same as it was Saturday wouldn't bite. I switched over to my hand tied popeyes tipped with scented slab sticks and I started catching some on or near the bottom in 30 fow. With the numbers of fish I seen I should have caught hundred of but after the day before I was happy with the 27 keeper size fished I did catch...

Glad you had a little luck Sunday Rodney. I've been fishing the Cumberland night time bass tournaments out of Burnside Island since i bought my motor & am trying to get enough in to fish the classic. It's September 28th then i'll be back to crappie fishing until the night tournaments start back up next summer & i'm able.
I had the same results on Sunday, using minnows. The fish I caught was right on the bottom in 18-20ft. Caught a lot of 8.75 inch fish. Managed a few keepers for dinner.
