I have not been on the water in two weeks. Last time was on Cland, caught 8 crappie (no keepers). Heard they were around the mouths of the major creeks but could not find them. Waiting for cooler air and water temps.

Good job, good groceries. Thanks for sharing
well I went yesterday and caught one keeper size crappie. broke a personal boating rule and went to a spot. Rule is if going any distance or chance of going make sure gas tank is full. Welllllll, I didn't. ran out of gas . Was able to limp to a gas dock on trolling motor and paddle. Some rules are not made to be broken!

Wife and I took a Tuesday trip to tville this week. Boated 26 between us and all were at and just over that 10 inch line. Pretty stocky fish. We caught everything on a roadrunner head with slabtwister body. Brush in 16 fow with fish being 7-8 ft deep. Never moved from the first spot. All went back for another day.
CrappiePappy thanked you for this post
I've been going about every other day. Here on Barkley it's been a mixed bag. Not sure if the weather, the water dropping, or I'm just not holding my mouth right. I'm catching just wading through the smalls. The wind has been tough for a couple of days.
I went yesterday and couldn't catch a keeper.
Water looked good and was 82 deg.
