This is my first fishing report I'm probably not the best resource but I was there this past weekend. Caught some at 12 to 15 in 20 to 25 FOW on minnows close to structure

Used to fish at cave run several years back. Used to have luck off bath co. Beach about 80 yards off shore are some sunken trees on the flats . I now live in Florida where it is totally different fishing manly just fish pads and grass in 5 to 7 ft of water. Crappie are very plentiful and great size and wide backed. I fish on Kissimmee lake and always take home limit of fish between 14 to 16 inches have caught a couple 20 inch crappie

You'd think with a lake full of Muskie that they'd never have a chance to grow that big ... but they do. Not to mention that there's no size limit on Crappie at Cave Run.
