Default 2022 Ky Lake Shindig fruit jar tournament ...

This idea only requires someone stepping up and dedicating oversight, documentation and fishing/weigh in rules ...

PM or text me your rules and I’ll sticky them ...

The only caveat I will offer is the Shindig “Meet and Greet” food is Saturday October 8 at 3pm at Aurora Park in Aurora Ky ...

Most of us that would run or fish the tournament will be hung by the off limits period for the Crappie USA classic the next weekend.

How does what Crappie USA does have any effect on what we do? I don't understand this.

There are members that fish the CUSA tournaments, and when our Shindigs & Flings occur during the pre-tournament period they have to abide by CUSA regs or face possible disqualification. That's why I schedule the Flings to not occur during those periods or on major holiday weekends, if at all possible.

you mean they have a rule that you can't fish the lake they're having a tournament on a WEEK before the tourney? I don't get it. where the fish are today doesn't mean they'll be there 6 days from now.

I can’t explain the rule. I don’t like it or believe it makes any difference, but it’s the rule. Both lakes are off limits for anyone fishing the tournament from September 27th-October 7th.

Un-sticking these 2022 Shindig threads so that they can roll off the page but still be “searchable” ...
