    Default full moon and fishing

I enjoy the challenge of trolling for walleye on Lake Cumberland. I had it going, then full moon. They slammed the door 100 percent. Of course, who knows if that was the reason or not. But they have a reputation of avoiding the sunlight, so moonlight seems more reasonable. And the days are certainly bright. So to those of you who troll for crappie: Do you feel the full moon changes your bite?

Personally, my experiences with fishing at night for Crappie under a full Moon have produced poor results. My results with a Full Moon while Bass fishing at night have been more productive, but only on banks where the Moon is not visible.

One of the recent KY Afield shows had them wade fishing the Green River, upstream from the lake, and I remember them saying to "not let the light from their headlamps shine down into the water". Here's the video : Kentucky Afield - Walleye Fishing with John Boel

I like moonlit banks on Cumberland for smallmouth going towards full afterwards it doesn't seem to help that much in my opinion. Crappie i have no clue about since i'm new at trying to catch them & failing miserably at it i might add.
