    Default FIRST TIME NIGHT FISHING

The first time ever tried night fishing without lights. Well we had 4 places picked out so we went to the first one and on second brush pile Pappy pulled out a nice one. To make a long story short fished another 67 brush piles before we caught the next fish at 6 13am. This was in the area of 1 of the 4 areas to try and the shallowest....From 6 13 to 8 13 we caught a total of 83 fish single poling. Had 31 keepers and few really nice fish. Fish was in 16 fow in open water mostly. I think all the fish after daylight was caught on Sunshine and blackberry hot rods and Sunshine, june bug and wildcat devil minners. Pictures will come later.....

There’s some nice fish. Was this at Green? What time did you get started? Think you’ll try it again?

Had a blast. Got to try out my new BnM Diamond Series rods (8ft & 12ft) and they did a great job. Even got to battle about a 6lb Largemouth on the 8ft rod before it threw the jig.

I still think we'd have caught fish in the dark, if we'd have just FOUND them

Slabanator jigs WORK, people ..... best get'cha some !!
