go to fishing creek cland. fish the wall down on the right from boat ramp. you will see others out there. we just put down floating lights. green or white both work. also wolf creek is a good place to go. all the banks you can see from alligator 1 boat ramp are good. both places on cland are not secret places. usually alot of company. never tried green at night

Thanks. I'm wanting to strictly livescope without anything other than blackiights. It's just that i don't know where the most common place that crappie to go for summer on these two lakes after they recuperate from the spawn. I'm a complete newby is the reason for asking & didn't know where the biggest majority go since i'm really wanting to catch numbers to learn more about my livescope system.

I am thinking on doing that very thing livescoping at night without putting any lights out. I have never tried it without putting lights out before. But I am going to try it at green river first. But this is where I would try first. Remember where I seen you that day I was with Larry Buis. Go up the creek to places you know where there are trees in the water at the edge of the drop. I bet anything they will be before the 2nd bend and right pass the 2nd bend...

Oh i went there & i caught several. I'm just wondering general places crappie go to in summer. I want to try it on Green for numbers to gain more confidence, but i know for a fact they can be caught just using the blacklights & drifting around which is what i did. I caught them around 14 foot straight down with the boat anywhere from mid 20s to 40 feet of water & had a blast even if i was by myself. lol Now i want to learn a lot more about locating & catching them strictly on livescope day or night. I think i'm going to skip the bass fishing at night for awhile this summer & strictly going to vertical jig with livescope to see just how good i can get at catching them.
