    Default Green River Yesterday

No fishing report but was at Lone Valley yesterday checking on RV and a boat we have in storage there.

Bunch of people fishing, parking lot full, people parking in grass across from the paved parking by the ramp. Camp Ground host at the Tackle Box were we have our RV said not much being caught down lake. Some action in Casey Creek and upper lake near Holmes bend. Decent weather yesterday so a lot of people out. Lake level appears to be 4 or 5 feet below normal pool. Dale at the tackle box said they were holding it there. By the way, he has a nice bait and tackle shop just before the turn off to the campground and ramp at Lone Valley. Reasonably priced and a great guy to do business with.

Yep, QT .... lake is down below Summer Pool by 5ft, and according to the COE chart it's not supposed to be back to Summer Pool until mid May.

t.slabseeker's clients are getting some good fish down around HB/Casey Creek area, so the guy at the Tackle Box is pretty much on point.

We used to fish exclusively out of Lone Valley, from the campground beach bank, around Goat Island, and about halfway up into Robinson Creek ... trolling or casting marabou Road Runners along the banks. But then, back then we'd generally not be there until the end of the third week of April. Oddly enough, that was the same time frame we used when we fished KY/Barkley lakes, back in the day. And we were generally successful on those trips.
