I know the lake level. But I normally don't fish at fishing creek when water is so low. But there are about 100 brush piles down the creek I use to fish when the lake was pulled way down that I have not fished for years, If they are still there....I refuse to put in at Lee Ford..... And the slate branch ramp is the only place I have ever had my truck broke into so that one is out of the question.

Was daylight when it happened to me too. You would think that with all the nice house and a big house next to the parking lot they wouldnt break in.

Exactly what I was thinking when I looked on Google Maps at the area.

yeah,"you'd think" but anymore thieves don't care where or what time of day it is. There are break ins and car jacking going on here at all hours. One in east Jefferson county last night was said, by police, that it was a"group of men" that did it. You can easily equate that to a gang. JMO.

I'd go to Waitsboro if launching in day time in the Somerset/Burnside area myself. Lots of traffic there. Summer when the parks are open the park attendant at Waitsboro will watch out for your stuff too if you park more towards his camper.

Also forgot to mention that you can't launch at Fishing Creek ramp straight across from Pulaski Co. Park so i'm sure you can't at the park either.
