    Default Taylorsville 7-21

Water was 86 to 88 deg and nice color.
Caught a lot of little ones, didn't matter wether fishing
deep or shallow. Caught some in 12' of water and some in
    40 to 50' of water.
I did manage 13 keepers with half of them being about 11".
    I used a 1/8 oz jig with a minnow.

    Good Job, JCC

What method of fishing were you using, and about how deep were the fish ??

cjpar3 & I went last Thur night (9p-3a) and only managed a few dinks. We had tons of tiny Silversides around the green light, but only noticed a few Shad come around .... no circling schools. We had our minnows down in the 8-12ft depths in about 25-30fow. I think water temps were in the 83-85deg range, then.

I cast a 1/8 oz jig tipped with a minnow and sometimes I caught fish down
15' deep and others only a few feet, I can't get a pattern going.
I always do better just before dark.
I went two days earlier with a friend and couldn't catch a keeper!
    That's crappie fishing for you

Check this out, this was a fight last week
    A 5lb+ LM on 6lb line using a 1/8oz jig with a minnow.
I can't believe I landed her. I put her back unharmed
