Cool No crappie luck at Guist Creek, but a fun day

My buddy and I decided to hit Guist Creek Lake yesterday morning and I wanted to try and catch a few crappie, but he was ok with whatever was biting. On his first cast (using a worm), Bluegill, 2nd, Bluegill and so on. He had caught 15 before I decided to give up on the crappie and start fishing for Gills. When it was all said and done, we had landed 111 bluegills. It was a fun day to say the least.

Used to fish Guist Creek many moons ago and stay at the campground. Always managed to catch enough nice bluegill for a few meals, nice area to fish. Sounds like you had a great morning on gills.
