I've done it at C-land before ... just used a 12v headlight in styrofoam in the water & 12v white lights in my "blacklights" to illuminate the rods/floats. Caught a few, too.
I've not fished Cedar at night with lights and I probably never will after the last time I was there at night. I was testing out my Livescope and could barely see the Garmin screen for all the "bugs" attracted to it. The closer I got to any stand of trees or the bank, the worse they got. And the sad thing about it was ... I scoped 7 or more stands of trees in the dam ramp area, and there wasn't a single fish on any of them. After that fiasco I've all but given up on fishing Cedar Creek.
