I was there Monday but launched at different ramp. Settlers tries my patience from the get go.
I pushed double minnow rigs and had 8 keepers.
Caught lots of fish that appeared to be moving toward the bank on Livescope. Plenty of company throughout the day.
I had the limit last Friday. Like Grand Central Station both days. Hate to see what weekends look like.

Yeah, Chuck ... when Settlers ramp lot is over half full at 9AM on a Tues, one can only imagine what it looks like on a weekend. I went several times last year (during the week) and found both Settlers & Possum Ridge parking space available only in their respective overflow areas.

Aside from the beached houseboat on the ramp, the biggest surprise to me was the lack of "wave makers" running up/down the lake. Hopefully we can get in a few more trips before they get started.

I call them Lake Lice Pappy.
There was one riding all over just outside of no wake zone at Possum Ridge for about 2 hours before dark. I just locked down on spot lock and tried no to let them bother me.

Yeah, and you know the "ski buoys" up in the back of Little Beech Creek .... in all the time I've fished that lake, I've only seen that section used a couple of times & maybe for ten minutes worth at best.

Oh, and those buoys got moved out to the back of the first straightaway section of the creek, instead of the back section after the left turn of the creek. Probably washed out after the flooding in early March.
