Default Tville 4/11 muddy water slabs

Now it was definitely slower than it’s been, but I kept 10 quality crappie, 4 over 12” and released another 30 or so. Fish were joking real tight to cover, found a calm shoreline with submerged treetops about 15 feet below the surface and made laps all day. Fished until 2:00, right before the rain and got out of dodge. I used 3” baits with 1/8 oz jigheads, bluegrass, June bug and black/chartreuse colors. Waa as yet was really starting to muddy up by the end of the day. Lake is rising, lots of floating logs out there. Y’all be careful.

Yeah, I noticed the lake had jumped up 1.4ft this morning when I checked the COE chart. Not surprising after the 1.2" rain they had.

Seen a video on FB of people fishing off the bank in front of the dam & catching Crappie.

Good to see you still whackin'em BCO ... and thanks for the reports !! I'll get down there, eventually, hopefully soon.
