    Unhappy Taylorsville 4/7

Sorry I don't post more, really sorry I don't fish more! All my big jobs are at nuke power plants in spring and fall!
Started off disappointing, big motor wouldn't start, starter Bendix issue, could hear starter whine but no contact with flywheel.
In order to try and at least salvage something we went straight across from Chowning with the trolling motor and cast the bank with baby shads. Caught 60-80 between 8-10 with 21 keepers in 4 hours, some were 12" nice ones.
Early troubleshooting leads me to believe cranking battery may be done for, the starter did engage after 2 hours of charging then slowed quickly. I am currently in AR for work and talking to some bass tournament boys here at the hotel, it appears they are all running 2 cranking batteries in parallel to power Livescopes and other depth finders. I may try that as I like to leave them running and sometimes spider rig with them all on.

Do you take your boat to work? Nuclear power plants are on the water. Or is there just no time to fish?
    It is what it is!

12-hour shifts, 6 or 7 day weeks, no time to fish! Currently on a short trip to ANO at Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas.
Would love to fish it but no time.
