Well I did get to Nolin yesterday with my grandson. The water was in good shape, you could see about 3-4 ft deep and that is good this time of year. We put in at Dog Creek ramp, not as busy, and went right and started around the campground. We proceeded to go around the island, you can see on a map. Water temp was 58 in morning and 61 in afternoon. I spider rig and caught fish in 10-20 fow and was 6-8 feet deep. Couldn’t catch much on jigs. Caught most everything on minnows. See some people catching long lining and also with a float about 3 ft deep next to bank. I think you could find just about anywhere you find brush. Lots of people down there and it should get better each day. We totaled 29 keepers(my grandson was doing clicker and miss counted for 30)Nolin lakeNolin lake. Nothing real big but he had a good time. Good luck
