    Default Impending Weiss trip

Won’t be long till my first trip to Weiss and I’m willing to take any and all advice you give on the where’s when’s and how’s. We’re staying at Little River Lodge so advice on where to eat would be helpful also. Really looking forward to this, thanks in advance.

I would post this on the Alabama board! Probably get better feedback than on here! Good luck on you're trip tho! I think I would hire a guide a day and see how they do it! It would be money well spent!

Always do well long lining on the river end the many times Ive been there late march. Could be in shorts, 2 days later in coveralls. Be prepared. Expect lots of company.

What he said ! It will depend on the weather but they should be plenty fish either in the mouth of any of the coves or if the weather is warm they will be headed to the back of the coves/ banks . Little river always has fish but they will be 40+ boats all working for a few keepers each ! If your a steak eater got to check out Tony’s steak barn In Center one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten !

I'm heading down at the end of March. Tony's is good and there was a pretty good pizza place in Cedar Bluff, but I can't remember the name. It was right by the grocery store. The Gridiron is a pretty good place to eat also if it survived. Good Luck!

It’s been a couple of years since I was at Weiss but the last time I was there Bar-b-que Place and More was pretty good, also Decks and Docks. Good luck, have a good trip.

I made the mistake of telling my wife how much it was to hire a guide for a day.

HOW MUCH MORE CAN HE KNOW!

As long as those steaks aren’t plant based, I’m in!

I usually get a guide the first day to get an idea what's going on so we can get a head start. Been going out with the same guy for years. Feel like he's a friend now! Last year was the first year missed in a long time and I'm ready to go back. Great trip with old friends. It'll be my first trip to Weiss without my dad after he passed away last year. Be a lot of memories talked about. We probably did 15 plus years in a row together there.
