Green river is ok.
Assuming Taylorsville is also.

Has anybody seen what the lake looks like the last few days? I have had my new Seaark for a month now and been itching to get it out and start the motor break in. With the weather we have had I was wondering if it was decent enough to run 20-30 mph in tomorrow. Thanks

Was there a few hours this morning. It’s heavily stained with a decent bit of floating debris on the lower end near the dam. Not horrible, but saw a few nice logs floating in addition to all the leaves. With calm weather shouldn’t have much of a problem seeing and avoiding anything large. Not sure if conditions will change with them pulling the lake down though.

Yeah, it will have an effect with them pulling the lake back down. Any wind, waves, or current present will take the floating debris up against a bank where it may get stuck on until the water comes back up enough to float that debris once again.
They were pulling at around 1700cfs this morning. The lake is not supposed to be at Summer Pool until Apr 1st ... but, as previous years have shown us, it can be way up long before then and even after then. And with the rains forecasted over the next few days, I'd expect it to jump back up several feet higher than it is, currently.
Here's this morning's level chart :
Concentrate on the middle section of the chart and you'll see last year's levels thru the month of March & April 2020 (far left end) .... and the yo-yo effect of the water levels (that lasted until June before they leveled out and stayed consistent for more than a day or two).
This webpage shows 2019 & 2020 levels ... and as you can see on it, the lake levels of 2019 were even higher during the same timespan. Taylorsville Lake Water Level
If I had a new sea ark
nothing could keep me home lol hope you enjoy the new toy
Been working a lot of overtime and weekends and the weather hasn’t cooperated much. It’s really testing my patience. Lol
I did manage to take it out Saturday. I wasn’t even on the water for 15 mins before I got pulled over by the wardens (still waiting on my decals). I was already nervous being a new boater in all but they checked my safety gear and off I went. Water was smooth with just a few things floating here and there downstream from Chowning boat ramp. I was surprised to be honest after ice and snow melt. Water was 38.8 degrees when I first got started. Anyhow just wanted to follow up on how it was. We got a downpour yesterday so I imagine that will change it for a bit.
