Had to be a brutal, nasty day to fish.

Cool & stormy, for sure ... but, the Cochran's total weight of 15.17lbs showed that the weather didn't affect their fishing.

7 fish per day, it was a two day tournament.

Several teams traveled from here in the west end of the state. Congrats to Lee and Rick, Jeff and Michael, Josh and Shawn and probably more I am leaving out for good showings in the tournament away from home.

Green River Lake can surprise you !! You can kinda get lulled, by catching dozens of fish with a 9" keeper or two in the mix, into thinking Green is just a "numbers" lake, but it can produce some really nice fish.

14 fish @ 15lbs .... even with the 1.6lb big fish they weighed in on day one ... is still close to a 1lb per fish average. That's impressive to me, too !!
