    Question Taylorsville crappie now?

I hear the creeks and bays are flooded with Shad now. What is a good pattern to get into some slabs? Are you catching them in brush piles deep are they back in creeks near shallow cover? Not looking for particular spots just a general idea on depths /patterns . Heading there this week. First time out of house in months!! Boy do I need it!!
    Thanks Bassky

I do believe we have several T-ville regulars, but they may not have been going there recently. Also, there are only 16 members (including you and me) that have read this post while logged in ... so either the 16 of us have read this post 9-10 times each, or several other members have read it while not logged in. BUT, most likely it's non-members trolling for info ... which is why I always tell members to take their pics with the bottom of the boat or the sky as the background, or take the pics somewhere other than on the water. And just give general info in their reports (like I gave you on another site).

I went yesterday and it was slow, like most I talked too I caught a lot of under legal size fish.
I think I got 6 all day that was at least legal, 10".
Water was dark and 67 degrees.
I used minnows and jigs and did about the same with both.
Fish are scattered all depths right now.
Most I caught was in 15 to 20 ft of water.

Definitely having the same luck right now as everyone else I've talked to. Catching several fish but hardly any keepers. Should be a good spring though.

Been fishing upper third of lake seems you have to catch 20 just under size before you gat a keeper. Mostly on minners Fishing from 6 to 10 feet but always in 20 to 30 feet of water. And yes tons of shad. Did good 2 weeks ago jigging timber only to get shut out 2 days later. But it sure beats sitting in the house. Good luck.
