Default Kentucky Crappie Trail Cave Run & Green River 10/3

It could not have been a better first month of the 2020/21 season for the KCT. Multiple divisions with new highs in boats, good fish and perfect weather.

Moving right along, our Kentucky Crappie Trail Cave Run Division and Kentucky Crappie Trail Green River Division will both be fishing this upcoming Saturday 10/3.

Cave Run anglers will register from 6:00-6:30am at the Alfrey boat ramp with tournament hours being 7:00am-1:00pm local time.

Green River will meet at the state park ramp with registration from 6:30am-7:00am and tournament running 7:30am-1:30pm EST.

Should be another good weekend across KCT to begin our second month of the year. Good luck this Saturday!

It was another great weekend and turnout at both our KCT Cave Run and Green River divisions this past Saturday 10/3. We had 27 boats compete between the two divisions with a pair of teams pulling off back to back victories for both.

Congrats to team Mann/Mann for winning the second Cave Run divisional tournament with 6.48lbs. Again, this is their second consecutive win on the trail at Cave.
Second went to father and son team Hall/Hall with 4.23lbs as well as the big crappie of the day at 1.52lbs. Third spot went to Brewer/Brewer with 4.19lbs.

Next Cave Run divisional tournament won’t be till February 27th, 2021 as the winter months at Cave are very slow.

Over at Green River, the guys also had a repeat winner. Congrats to Team Estridge on his back to back wins with 6.53lbs. Second went to Kersey/Rogers with 6.10lbs and a close third to Daughtry/Daughtry with 6.07lbs and big fish of the tournament of 1.26lbs.

Next Green River divisional tournament will be on November 21st. Tight lines.
