Was there Tues & again on Sat (yesterday) casting & jigging .... only found fish on trees with branches, and they were holding in the 15-20ft depths both days. Biggest problem was that most all of them were sub-legals and even they didn't bite like they were hungry. Most of the ones I saw on LS would come racing up to check out my jig & then turn away after a couple of seconds of inspection.

Water color is good from Settlers Trace to the Horseshoe Bend and temp was ~80deg Tues & 77-78deg yesterday. Lake is only up a few inches over Summer Pool.

Did see/talk to a couple Tues. morning, that were fishing with minners & they told us they had caught over 20 fish before they got the first keeper. When we left them their count was well over 30 fish and counting, still with only the one keeper.

I don't know what's up with them fish at T-ville ... usually the dinks are the hardest thumpers, and the ones we caught did slam the jigs pretty good, but I've never seen them just "peck" at the jig as much as they were doing this week.

Supposed to go back later in the week, so if you find out where the keepers are hiding, PM me PLEASE !!

If you want to know where we fished, PM me and I'll let you know (where not to fish )

    Default Taylorsville Lake?

I have only been once in the last 6 weeks. Had 12 keepers but had to move a lot for them.
I’ve been hearing much of the same as CP, lots of shorts.
    And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
