Lately I've gotten better responses from Facebook advertisements than Craigslist.
FB seems to get more viewers.
To all, If you have trouble selling your boat, I had an amazing response from Facebook Marketplace recently. I posted by boat for sale and sold it at exactly 34 minutes after posting. Had 15 more calls/emails about the boat after this before I could update the post to say it was sold. I guess I priced it too low. But, I got what I wanted, no hangling about the price. New owner gave me cash in 100$ bills.

Facebook marketplace is a 1000+ times better than craigslist, mainly because you can see the peoples' names and pictures and some of their profiles so you kind of have a way to know they aren't scammers like craigslist. Also helps that you can see that they are local or not.
I've sold a ton of stuff on Facebook, and with the pandemic many are bored and buying stuff off of there as entertainment. I'm amazed at some of the prices people are paying for custom painted crankbaits on there, I guess I need to sell some of my custom painted lures on there. Ha!
My buddy is trying to buy a pontoon. Its absolutely ridiculous how fast they are selling on Facebook! People got time and money I guess lol. He can’t give his money away because 10 people beat him to the buy

Greenfish, I'm having the same problem as your buddy trying to buy a Golf Cart. The ones I find I want to buy are already sold(the poster had not updated the post stating it was sold), or I'm on a waiting list in case the 1st buyer backs out.

My advice. Buy a counterfeit pen for a few bucks if you are selling for cash.
